First photo of Ivan
Here’s a photo of Ivan and Rachael, taking a nap after the big event. You’ll find more on Flickr.

Ivan Joseph Levy was born at home at 12:55 PST today. He weighed in at 9 lbs., 3 oz. Both Rachael and Ivan are doing well. I’ll have pictures up shortly.
It’s a new year, and I’ve got a new photo of one of our kids. My dad got a great shot of Chaja and Rachael during a knitting session. Check out the larger version on Flickr.
Christopher Damour fixed the minor bug with his excellent NowPlaying WinAmp component, so the list of songs I’m listening to is formatted correctly. I’m not sure why I enjoy broadcasting it so much. In other news, I’m updating the gallery as new photos become available, so you’ll just have to check in now and then. In a fit of angry self-pity I read Tolstoy’s The Death of Ivan Ilyich last night. There’s just no substitute for good literature.
I’m taking advantage of the summer and making some changes around here, and you may have already noticed that I’m emitting the last five songs I’ve listened to, in lieu of making an emotional investment by actually updating the page myself. The song titles are usually mangled, but I’m in touch with the programmer and he’s working on the issue. But I’ve buried the lead; Check out the Burroland Media Department for some new photos, including Sam & Max’s second birthday.
(Gasp) An update! Sam and Max turned 1 today, and I’ve put up some frame grabs from the video. Maybe I’ll get around to editing down some decent video, but don’t hold your breath.
OK, so we’ve moved. Physically as well as electronically, that is. We bought a bigger house to house a bigger family — the twins are expected to hit around May 30. I’ll put pictures up as soon as possible. In the meantime, click here for a more interesting site.
We’ve put up pictures of Chaja’s first few days. Enjoy!
Chaja Maureen Levy slipped into our living room 8:43 a.m. Thursday, September 3. Chaja weighed six pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 3/4 inches long. For the metric types among you, that’s 3.188 kg and 52.7 cm. Rachael’s water broke at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, so labor lasted almost 34 1/2 hours. Imagine the most beautiful little baby in the world, add a birthmark on her head that resembles Jupiter’s Red Spot, and there you have Chaja. We’ll have pictures up here within a week, so check back then. Also, here’s how we pronounce her name.
