Stubborn
It’s a new year, and I’ve got a new photo of one of our kids. My dad got a great shot of Chaja and Rachael during a knitting session. Check out the larger version on Flickr.

You can hardly call this a “news” section, but give a new father a break. I’ve got some three-month old photos for you now, and more recent shots will follow. Click here and enjoy!
We’ve put up pictures of Chaja’s first few days. Enjoy!
Chaja Maureen Levy slipped into our living room 8:43 a.m. Thursday, September 3. Chaja weighed six pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 3/4 inches long. For the metric types among you, that’s 3.188 kg and 52.7 cm. Rachael’s water broke at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, so labor lasted almost 34 1/2 hours. Imagine the most beautiful little baby in the world, add a birthmark on her head that resembles Jupiter’s Red Spot, and there you have Chaja. We’ll have pictures up here within a week, so check back then. Also, here’s how we pronounce her name.
Our first baby picture. That’s no “Alien” prop you’re looking at, but a sonar-rific image of our pride and joy. Admittedly, the spine is the clearest part of the picture, but that’s some spine, eh? We’re so proud.
Click on the image to see a slightly larger version, with all the serious-looking medical data included as a bonus. The scan was done March 2, and the technician calculated Rachael to be 14 weeks and two days along. That puts the due date at August 29.
There really isn’t much else new, or at least nothing that can top the whole sonar-baby thing. So tell us something new.
